Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Or you could just eat healthy and exercise and stop messing with your bodies natural way diets are stupid and do nothing for you except confuse your body

Didn't the inventor of The Atkins diet die of a heart attack? Too much red meat.

@Kelly. Oh I've reached my goal months ago; I actually lost 13lbs more than my original goal. I'm just maintaining now, but will check out Slimming World.

To Thelma slimming world when you reach your goal it is free xx

Vegan, vegetarian and paleo don't fit in with these. Those three are a choice of eating not a diet programme. Anyway, all of these diets are money scamming and ridiculous. I'll never agree with them, other than the three I've mentioned.

Eat clean and have a cheese burger once in a while and exercise

So what happens when one reaches their weight loss goal? Are these healthy enough to continue? The only one that sounds like it can be long term is Weight Watchers. Eat "regular" or "normal" foods, just watch your calories. When I wanted to drop a few pounds, that's exactly what my doctor told me. 1200-1400 calories per day. I still enjoyed the things I loved, but I made healthier choices (no more fried foods, just grilled, etc..) Nobody should "diet." Make it a lifestyle.

I agree that you should still be able to enjoy your food, and at least have one " cheat meal," so you don't binge eat & feel deprived.

Slimming world is fantastic. I have tried clean eating cutting sugar etc and could never lose weight. I don't have a gallbladder so the low fat is perfect for me. I lost 5 pounds in one week and have been losing since.

Lost 60 pounds following paleo. Love it!
