1

HIIT

Joe is a firm believe in HIIT cardio, or high intensity interval training. This is a workout that involves strenuous forms of exercise in short bursts, and it is the best kind of activity for burning body fat. As far as the Body Coach is concerned, the more you do it, the better, but doing a 30-minute session about four to five days a week is about right.

2

Water

It’s vital to drink lots of water to accompany your exercise and diet choices. Between two to four litres a day is the recommended amount. It might feel like a lot of water, especially if you normally don’t drink that much, but you would be surprised how much you can consume just by sipping regularly on a bottle.

3

Cook

You should be prepping and cooking at least 70% of your weekly meals yourself rather than relying on takeaways and frozen foods. You have so much more control over what goes into your body when you are making it from scratch.

4

Eat out Twice

Commit to only eating out about twice a week. Be careful with this, because grabbing a quick lunch at Starbucks will count as one of those meals; it isn’t just about going out to a fancy restaurant for dinner.

5

Limit Booze

The Body Coach says you are still allowed to drink when getting lean his way, but only about twice a month. Alcohol has so many hidden calories in it so restricting your indulgence to once every two weeks is a good way to ensure you are staying on track the rest of the time.

6

Treat Yourself

Nobody is perfect and the Body Coach makes room for that. He says that you can treat yourself to a chocolate bar or an ice cream about two times a week without having to feel guilty about the calorie and nutrition repercussions.

7

Repeat

Once you have completed a week of Joe’s regime, then all you have to do is commit to another. Keep taking it one week at a time and before you know you will be lean and fit and healthy!
